Director of ROAE2 gave a special lecture on “Agricultural Adaptation to Climate Change and Developing an Adaptation Plan”
On November 11-12, 2024, Ms. Thanphicha Theraratchanon, Director of Office of Agricultural Economics Region 2 (Director of ROAE2), gave a special lecture on “Agricultural Adaptation to Climate Change and Developing an Adaptation Plan” in a workshop on “Teachers and Staff Promoting Immunity Building for the Impacts of Climate Change in Thailand with Effective Water Management and Sustainable Agriculture in Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, and Uttaradit Provinces” at the Ayutthaya Meeting Room, Topland Hotel, Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province, organized by the Royal Irrigation Department in collaboration with Naresuan University.
Mr. Surachat Malasri, Director of the Project Management Office, and Mr. Somjittiphong Amnatsan, Director of Office of Royal Irrigation Region 3, presided over the opening ceremony. The participants included heads of provincial and district-level government agencies, and local personnel from relevant agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, such as the Royal Irrigation Department, Department of Agricultural Extension, Land Development Department in the 3 provinces mentioned
In this lecture, the Director of ROAE2 led a team of academics, officers, and cooperative education students of ROAE2 to join the lecture.
